2011 = Networking Year

Hi All,

Welcome to 2011 let's start it off on the right foot and meet in the Glenroyal, Maynooth for an Open Coffee.

The network meeting will be held on Thursday 20th at 10:30AM. ALL are welcome, you don't have to be from Maynooth to come along, you don't have to be Kildare to come along, you don't even have to be from Ireland to come along.

Christmas meetings

There will be no opencoffee on the following dates due to the holidays.

• December 16th, 2010
• Jan 6th, 2011

We will still be having the meeting in Naas on December 2nd. See you all there.

Remember, these network meetings are open to everyone, you do not have to be from the area to attend.

Consistency is key

As we are restructuring the Opencoffee mornings that next meeting will also be held at the Osprey, Naas.

We have decided to be consistent and hold the Naas OpenCoffee on the first Thursday of the month and the Maynooth Opencoffee will be held on the Third Thursday of the month. Time will always remain the same: 10:30AM - whenever.

I have arranged with the Osprey to have our Coffee morning next Thursday 21st Oct, 2010 at 10:30AM. Looking forward to seeing you all.

We are an informal group that get together to have a coffee and talk about business, the weather, sports or whatever you want to chat about. Meet people, build trust, and do business.

Under new management

We've had a change in management. Anthea has relinquished the throne and has passed it onto me, Vince Doherty. I realise that I have big shoes to fill, but I will do my best.

I would like to have consistent days for our get togethers. I was thinking the first Thursday of each month for the Naas meeting and the last Thursday of each month for the Maynooth meeting. What does everyone think? feel free to comment.

I think the times and the structure should remain the same.

Summer time

We hope you're all having a great Summer and have managed to take a break & refresh.

Some exciting news - we are delighted to promote the Sallins coffee morning which has been running successfully for nearly a year now. Finella of Baby Moments and Barter-It is the organiser.

We have posted the dates for September and over the next week we'll finalise the dates for the autumn.

Next networking event is 27th May in the Osprey from 1030 to 1200 - see you then.

Here at Open Coffee Kildare we are looking forward to the Summer. We will be having only one event a month through the summer and resume our normal schedule in September.

10th June - Maynooth

15th July - Naas

19th August - Maynooth
